Romance and Relationships - 10 Romantic Fall Date Ideas

Do you know how hard it is to come up with ideas for your date night? Are you tired of doing the same thing over and over? Setting aside a regular date night is one way to keep your relationship fresh and exciting. Read on to discover 10 unique date ideas for the fall season.

Even though every season has a unique romantic quality, autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cool crisp air and great colors. After the heat of summer, fall is literally a breath of fresh air.

There are some seasonal activities that only are available for brief periods. If you are looking for some unique ideas about how to spend time with your special someone, then take advantage of these fall festivities. You may think that some of these are just for kids. Have you ever wondered why do we quit doing fun things when we become adults? Let the kid within you enjoy this great time of year.

Here Are Ten Autumn Date Ideas:

1. Go to a pumpkin patch

You can enjoy hayrides, food, shopping and more.

2. Rake leave and then fall into them

What kid does not like doing this? Let go of your inhibitions and do not think about wasting a good pile of leaves. Just let go and have fun.

3. Go hiking and enjoy the beautiful colors

Hiking together is a great way to exercise your heart physically and emotionally. It is also a good stress releaser and gives you some quiet time to talk to each other.

4. Try camping

I think that fall is the best time of the year for camping. The days are warm enough to enjoy, but the evenings are cool enough to enjoy snuggling before the fire.

5. The state or county fair

Autumn is the traditional time for state and county fairs. Spend the day holding hands and eating cotton candy. Then snuggle up together on the exciting midway rides.

6. Fall foliage tour

Take a drive in the country and admire the changing season.

7. Snuggle in front of the fireplace

Build a fire, turn down the lights, make cocoa, and play romantic music. Sometimes the simple quiet times are the most romantic.

8. The arboretum or botanical gardens

You may think more about the arboretum as a spring activity, but the autumn mums, pansies, and foliage can be just as striking as the spring flowers.

9. Carve a pumpkin

Get your creative juices flowing.

10. Corn Maze

A corn maze is just what it sounds like. A series of trails are cut into cornfields in the form of a maze. You challenge your brain and your bodies finding your way out. Check out the internet for a corn maze near you.

Fall can be one of the most romantic times of year. Take advantage of the seasonal activities and fall in love in autumn.
